Halo Event Photography – Copyright, Terms and Conditions

1.1       Sharing of digital images/files (including on-line file sharing services) without prior consent is forbidden.

1.2       Uploading of digital images/files to any website which allows downloading of images or printing services is forbidden.
1.2.1    Examples:
                        www.flickr.com
                        www.photobox.com
                        www.kodakgallery.com

1.3       Prints, re-prints and enlargements must be ordered via halo event photography unless prior consent has been issued by the copyright holder and/or a licensing agreement has been issued.

1.4       Any unauthorised copying, duplication or reproduction of prints/digital images is strictly forbidden; unless prior consent has been issued by the copyright holder and/or a licensing agreement has been issued.

1.5       Digital and/or photographic alteration of any digital file, photograph or print is strictly forbidden unless prior consent has been issued by the copyright holder.
1.5.1    Examples:
                        Converting image to B&W
                        Cropping of image / print
                        Alterations in any photograph manipulation program (i.e. Photoshop)

1.6       Halo Event Photography holds the right to be identified as the author of any material, “material rights asserted”.  Reference to Halo Event Photography as the copyright owner must be made alongside any usage of any photographs.       
1.6.1    Examples:
                       Copyright © 2007 Halo Event Photography,
                       www.haloeventphotography.co.uk,
                       Photography by Halo Event Photography,
                       or words to similar affect.

1.7       Usage in commercial material is strictly forbidden unless prior consent has been issued by the copyright holder and/or a licensing agreement has been issued.
1.7.1    Examples:
                        CD covers, postcards, t-shirts, books, magazines etc.

1.8       Halo Event Photography reserves the right to use any photograph / image as promotional / advertising material or to include within portfolio either printed or on-line.

Standard Services.

Prior to all photographic shoots details of usage must be agreed upon by all parties.
The following points are terms and conditions regarding specific halo event photography services and apply if no other licensing agreement has been entered into. All above points still apply unless stated otherwise - specific points will be highlighted for consideration if particularly relevant.

Standard Service

2.1       Usage is limited to internet and web based promotion. Points 1.1and 1.2 must be considered.

2.2       Photographs will be placed on-line at www.haloEP.co.uk.  Prints, re-prints and enlargements can be purchased on-line. See Point 1.3.

2.3       Limited licence – For use in own promotional material (excluding magazines, newspapers, press releases and commercial material) for 12 months from supply, use is non-exclusive.  The copyright holder reserves the right to use for personal/commercial use, material rights asserted.  See points 1.6 to 1.8.

2.4       If full licence is purchased point 2.3 is no longer valid. See points 2.4.1-5.

2.4.1    Full licence – For use in own promotional material for 18 months from supply with exclusivity until first use.  The copyright holder reserves the right to use for personal use, material rights asserted.  See points 1.6 & 1.8.
2.4.2    (Amendment to point 1.4) Unlimited reproduction from digital images is allowed for use in advertising and marketing material.  Points 1.2, 1.3 & 1.5 must be considered.
2.4.3    (Amendment to point 1.5) Alterations and digital manipulation by graphic artists for use in advertising and marketing will be allowed. Points 1.2 & 1.3 must be considered.
2.4.4    (Amendment to point 1.7) Usage in commercial material is allowed.
2.4.5    (Amendment to point 2.2) Once exclusivity has expired photographs will be placed on-line at www.haloEP.co.uk.

Promotional

Standard Service

3.1       Limited internet usage. Points 1.1and 1.2 must be considered.

3.2       Photographs will be placed on-line at www.haloEP.co.uk.  Prints, re-prints and enlargements can be purchased on-line. See Point 1.3.

3.3       Limited licence – For use in own promotional material (excluding magazines, newspapers, press releases and commercial material) for 12 months from supply, use is non-exclusive.  The copyright holder reserves the right to use for personal/commercial use, material rights asserted.  See points 1.6 to 1.8.

3.4.5    (Amendment to point 3.2) Once exclusivity has expired photographs will be placed on-line at www.haloEP.co.uk.

Event

4.1       Limited internet usage. Points 1.1and 1.2 must be considered.

4.2       Photographs will be placed on-line at www.haloEP.co.uk.  Prints, re-prints and enlargements can be purchased on-line. See Point 1.3.

4.3       A PDF slideshow will be downloadable from www.haloEP.co.uk and can be distributed as is to third parties.  Alteration or printing from this file is strictly forbidden. Points 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4 must be considered.

4.4       Direct sales and printing by Halo Event Photography at any venue is allowed at the discretion of the copyright holder at a competitive price.

4.5       Limited licence – For personal use only, use is non-exclusive.  The copyright holder reserves the right to use for personal/commercial use, material rights asserted.  See points 1.6 and 1.8.
